Ravinia Rollers Cycling Club
Roadbiking for fun and fitness
We are a bunch of road biking enthusiasts
in Dunwoody, Roswell, Peachtree
Corners and surrounding areas. We ride
mostly on Saturday and Sunday mornings.
The typical ride is somewhere between 5
and 15 people on any given ride. We ride
from the Robert Fowler YMCA which is in
Peachtree Corners just north of
Dunwoody and east of Roswell. The
Saturday rides are 25 miles at a moderate
pace and are oriented toward new riders
and those who are getting back into it. On
the Sunday rides, we typically do 30 to 60
miles at 17 to 19 mph average speed. We
also do occasional Gaps rides or other
"outings". I've developed quite a few
routes over the years so we do offer a lot
of variety. The Sunday group is fairly
diverse. I have hardcore triathletes as
well as “fitness” cyclists who have
progressed from Spinning classes to the
open road. It is a “no drop” ride and,
although the faster riders do sometimes
rabbit, we always regroup at turns, etc..
We make sure nobody gets lost or left
behind.

Check out the new Routes Page! I've been creating "Loops"
of all our regular routes on LiveStrong.com showing the
route, the elevation and other details of the rides we do. I'll
continue to add more as time permits.
